To implement the "Management Measures for Production Safety Accident Emergency Plans," "Emergency Response Plan for Production Safety Accidents of Hunan Xiangwei Co., Ltd.," and "Emergency Response Plan for Sudden Environmental Events of Hunan Xiangwei Co., Ltd.," test their reliability and operability, improve employees' familiarity with emergency plans and their ability to correctly respond to, control, and handle accidents, and verify whether emergency rescue equipment, facilities, and other emergency rescue resources meet the needs of emergency response and rescue, enhance employees' awareness of accident prevention, and further refine the emergency rescue mechanism, the company organized an emergency rescue drill for a fire caused by the rupture of the explosion-proof membrane of a refined methyl acetate storage tank.

To ensure the success of this drill, the company carefully planned it, developing the "Emergency Rescue Drill Plan for a Fire Caused by the Rupture of the Explosion-Proof Membrane of a Refined Methyl Acetate Storage Tank in the Methyl Acetate Tank Area." The plan detailed the content and procedures of the drill, outlining the requirements. Each participating team prepared meticulously according to these requirements.

The on-site drill began promptly at 9:00 am on June 26th. The organic chemical workshop diligently organized initial self-rescue efforts. After receiving the alarm, each participating team quickly arrived at the scene and completed the drill according to the plan, including fire extinguishing, on-site decontamination, scene security, personnel rescue, on-site monitoring, accident wastewater treatment, information communication and dissemination, equipment inspection and production resumption, and accident investigation. The process was standardized, the on-site atmosphere was intense, the participating teams were proactive, and the drill largely achieved its objectives.

Hou Yingjie, the company's production operation director and deputy commander of emergency rescue, reviewed the emergency rescue drill, pointing out existing problems and shortcomings. He required that the company's various rescue teams, especially the fire brigade, seriously summarize the drill, strengthen training on emergency rescue-related knowledge, and effectively improve emergency rescue levels and capabilities.
