On January 25th, at the company's 2024 annual summary and commendation meeting, Cai Yong, an employee of the PVAC section of the organic workshop, delivered a speech on behalf of the winners of the "2024 Post Technical Competition".

Good afternoon, everyone!

My name is Cai Yong, and I am an employee of the PVAC section in the organic workshop. I am honored to have won an award in this technical competition. Standing here, I feel excited and a little nervous...

I am a veteran employee of Xiangwei, having worked in the alcoholysis section for many years. I have deep feelings for Xiangwei. After Xiangwei ceased production in May 2017, like many Xiangwei employees, I left my hometown to find work elsewhere to make a living. After nearly five years, Xiangwei resumed production in the context of the "industrial revitalization and strengthening of the county" in Xupu County. I returned to the Xiangwei family without hesitation. I love Xiangwei, and I love this land even more. Thank you to the new Xiangwei for providing us with a work platform, allowing us to continue working on this land filled with emotion.

Today, I would like to talk about the personal qualities required to be a qualified operator from the perspective of my own position, and share my thoughts with you. Please feel free to correct any mistakes. First, to be a qualified operator, one must be familiar with the process flow of the work section, down to every control point and every valve. One should be able to draw a flow chart of each system in the process. In my work, when guiding new employees, whether it's startup, shutdown, or unit operation, I patiently explain the process flow to them, letting them touch the pipes and familiarize themselves with the flow of materials on site. I know that closing or opening a wrong valve can cause immeasurable losses to production, or even safety accidents. Therefore, learning is the basis, familiarity is the premise, mastery is the key, and application is critical.

Secondly, I believe that to be a qualified operator, one must also possess the ability to cooperate and communicate. The organic workshop is a continuous, highly automated chemical unit. The impact of upstream processes on downstream processes, the mutual influence of each system within the process, and the cooperation and communication between different positions will all have a significant impact on the final product. In practice, the cooperation and communication between control room personnel and on-site personnel are particularly important. Each precise instruction from the control room must be carefully executed by the on-site personnel. Communication between different positions must be timely and smooth, and cooperation is essential to ensure safe, high-quality production.

Finally, to be a qualified operator, one must maintain a correct work attitude, reduce complaints, and radiate positive energy. Not only should one be able to do the work, but one should also be proactive. We must strictly follow the company's rules and regulations and job operating procedures, and always keep safety production in mind. One day in October 2024, after maintaining the alcoholysis machine in column Ⅸ, I was preparing to start it up. While using a flashlight to check the alcoholysis machine belt, I noticed a steel wire rope on the rear frame of the alcoholysis machine from a powder gate plate. I immediately reported it to the section and had it removed, thereby preventing a potential safety accident.

Here, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the company for providing me with a platform to improve my skills, and to thank my leaders for their trust and my colleagues for their support. This award is an honor, but also a responsibility. In future work, I will continue to maintain my enthusiasm for work, continuously improve myself, and contribute more to the company's development. I also hope to work with my colleagues to continuously explore and improve together on the road of skill enhancement.
